According to a study on student persistence conducted by the National Center for the Study of Adult Learning and Literacy (NCSALL), an important factor that helps students stay in programs is their sense of self-efficacy. In this workshop, participants will a) learn about various tools designed to assess students’ sense of self-efficacy before and after participation in a program, b) review resources and tips to develop students’ self-efficacy, and c) strategize to utilize these tools, tips, and resources to inform program and case management planning, and provide services that are custom-tailored to address students’ needs.
